Accounting - 8 years

I understand the accounting functionality and have a well-rounded, overall view of Accounting operations after working 8 years in various capacities in an Accounting Department. These responsibilities include:  Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Audit Work Papers, Cash Receipts, Consolidations, Financial Analysis, Fixed Assets, and Reconciliations.

Contact Center / Hospitality - 1-1/2 years

My contact center and hospitality background includes working collaboratively with leadership to design, develop, and implement contact center and hospitality training.  This includes development of a knowledge management system for just-in-time information – to minimize the average handle time for the contact center.  In addition, due to the various campaigns within a timeshare company, the information and training had to be developed and launched rather quickly – to maximize the staff’s quality and response to their customers.

Healthcare - more than 10 years

At Rotech Healthcare, I worked two years as a Training Manager to launch computer-based training nationally to 500 locations.  This included managing projects through Compliance to validate regulatory obligations such as HIPAA.   I analyzed, designed, developed and implemented 2-3 week long orientations for 3 of 5 primary roles including sales reps, managers, and drivers; assisted with development and implementation of other 2 roles (i.e. clinicians and customer reps); sent post training survey to new employees 30 days after orientation completion; evaluated continually to improve orientations and updated baseline/template orientation used for all 5 programs.  Furthermore, after designing and implementing Rotech U (an online repository of information), I launched all training documents including modules with assessments, job aids, and classroom handouts.

Dynamic Healthcare has provided a wealth of experience in working in the software company for the healthcare industry.  After 2 years, I became well-versed in HL7 interfaces, DICOM conformance, PACS (Picture Archived and Communication Systems), RIS (Radiology Information Systems), imaging, diagnostic reports, MedSpeak (voice recognition), and Optima (mammography system)

After working at Florida Hospital (a 1,500-bed, acute-care hospital) for 13 years, I have a strong healthcare background - my resume only reflects a condensed version of my hospital experiences.  In the Patient Business department, I have worked in various capacities and acquired knowledge with patient registration, medical records, insurance, Medicaid/Medicare, and billing.  Working in the clinical areas of hospital includes positions in the Emergency Room and WDMCI Cancer Research Lab.  In addition, my hospital Accounting responsibilities provided a well-rounded, overall view of hospital operations:  Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Receipts, Consolidations, Financial Analysis, Fixed Assets, and Reconciliations.

Training / Instructional Systems Design - 6+ years

My training experience includes 6 years as a Training Manager/Instructional Designer/Trainer, providing a unique combination of expertise in training and software – where I was a responsible for a diversity of training related tasks:  rolled out 2-3 week long orientations for 3 of 5 primary roles including sales reps, managers, and drivers; and designed, developed and implemented training programs including needs assessment, curriculum design, training strategies and program delivery.  Additionally, my expertise includes technology-based solutions for strategies requiring a distance educational approach.  This included managing and building the corporate online university and promoting usage of online meeting tools.

Software - 3 years

At the Dynamic Healthcare, I have provided software support and worked with development to design, test, and implement new code at beta sites of PACSPlus - a PACS radiology solution (Picture Archived and Communication Systems) that combines images, information, and web technology.  My responsibilities included performing unit testing such as: client/server, SQL, browser based (MS IE) reports, HL7 and DICOM conformance.   In addition, configuring and troubleshooting client server systems, database issues, and network problems has provided me valuable experience in supporting front and back end products.  I have worked in similar capacities with Medical Manager/WebMD and TM Floyd - working with (including QA'ing) their proprietary software.
